Today's walk, in which it's cold and icy, the walk home goes delightfully right and horribly wrong, and I finish in darkness.
Or, to expand, a walk I over-optimistically hoped to do last weekend but didn't have time for finally got completed this week.
It was only half-planned, I printed a set of directions for the walk out to Glossop, and looked at the map to get an idea of the way back. That meant I had a clear route for the morning, and a much vaguer sense of the return.
