manchester art crawl - tamlyn 11
Ooh! Got a letter yesterday saying my proposal for a piece for Manchester Art Crawl has been successful.
The Art Crawl is part of Not Part Of Festival this year.
I won't give too much information just yet. I have a few minor technological details to organise first but they should be done in about a week.
The piece is called tamlyn 11 from the folk ballad Tam Lin (or Tam Lyn, Tamlyn, Tambling, Tam o' the Lyn, Tam-a-Lyn and several others). See also Wikipedia for details of the ballad.
tamlyn 11 will be a durational performative text involving a variety of media. It will be documented on a tumbr blog of the same name - which has been established but currently has no posts.
More details of the piece will be published here and on the tumblr in the coming weeks.
