art + sound art tomorrow
Tomorrow (Saturday 4 September) try and get across to Bury Art Gallery for When Artists Take Over.
At least I think that's the event. My friends Jen and Lou who performed at the last Counting Backwards are repeating a version of the performance at the gallery tomorrow at around 1pm. They were a fairly late edition around two weeks ago though so they're not mentioned in any information I've seen and there are other events listed for the gallery tomorrow.
When Artists Take Over also features Magnus Quaife, Sarah Sanders and Irene Barberis and is described on the Bury Council site this way:
Tony Trehy recently blogged about Sarah Sanders' work here.

For the first time in Bury Art Gallery’s history, the largest exhibition space
is being completely handed over to practicing local and international
contemporary artists for short experimental residencies. Installations will
showcase works by Magnus Quaife, Sarah Sanders and Irene Barberis. These
exhibitions and interventions are of short duration and unpredictable, so please
ring the Gallery on 0161 253 5878 to check timings and availability.
