riffing bad movies pt 2
I wasn't going to riff another film, but... Then Geostorm came on Netflix. And well, that HAD to be riffed.
In the end the film was nowhere near as entertainingly bad as it should have been. But I did have fun Tweeting my reaction.
Overall it's a very slow, static and boring film for the first hour, with an uncharismatic and boring cast, dull dialogue, awful colour-grading, poor CG, and not nearly enough what-the-fuckery to be entertaining.
The last half hour or so doesn't quite make up for it, but is pacy, absurd and fun enough in its own way. Most of my riffing centres on how predictable it all is.
