walk - when a planned walk and back ups don't happen

This account of my walk on Saturday is more tightly scripted than usual, for reasons that should become apparent.

I set out with one intention but changed my plans the new plan was also abandoned and a third put in its place and again quickly dropped. This is why that happened and how I reacted.
