An account of my New Year's Day walk. In which development sucks and the homeless are mistreated because some people are assholes; a cat goes for a walk and I see a kingfisher for the first time in ages.

I'm back into these now after a couple of months when I didn't have too many opportunities to get out. Should be less busy now, less tired from work, and with the days starting to lengthen.
