dead media 7 abel gance's napoleon review

Our latest dead media programme is available now for everyone.

This time Richard Barrett's back with another review, here discussing the print of Abel Gance's classic silent movie Napoleon (1927) currently in theatres.

It's another interesting review, though since I haven't seen the film yet I can't tell you whether or not I concur with Richard's opinions.

The title card image shows Albert Dieudonné as Napoleon, copied a little shakily from a still.

Coming soon we have a bonus patron-only programme from Richard, and for dead media 8 I decide that Rogue One was godawful...

While for Patreon supporters only the latest waspcast episode is now available.

This week it's the second part of the conversation started in episode 1. We continue talking about immigration, then move on to the interconnections of a modern economy, hummus, film, artists films, the Ragnar Kjartansson exhibition in London last year, skills and value in art, and aspiring to be a living statue.

I'm still a little quiet, but that's fine since I have nothing of value to say. Also, this is why you should give us money, so we don't have to use just the one mic for four of us.

As usual, please subscribe, like, share and comment. It helps spread the word, build up listeners, and who knows, ultimately begin to make this pay.
