scribbles
This is great! I'm regressing by the day. So creative writing is on indefinite hiatus - or the autumn if there's a place on the MA course. Now santiago has taken up scribbling.
Yesterday I wanted to create something and decided it ought to be a drawing. But there was nothing to draw, no urge there. So instead I decided to do something that's always there in the background whenever I'm creating. Scribbles. No intent to make images or representations. No attempt to make words or say anything. Just making marks for the sake of it.
Give it a try, it's immensely liberating. And don't worry, you'll never see any of these scribbles, they're artistically worthless. It is just mark-making and fun. Go on, give it a go. See you soon.
