review - performances from poetry emergency day 1, fri 23 nov

And finally, my review (short, inarticulate and not as insightful or accurate as I'd like) of day one of Poetry Emergency.

This one done largely without a script, and it shows.



Anyway, I'm rushing out to start day 2 now. I don't perform until this evening but I've got my stuff packed and ready:

• phone with 20 minute spoken text to run under my sounds
• bluetooth speaker - to play the spoken text through
• thumb piano
• violin bow - to play the thumb piano
• thunder drum
• plastic bags to hold stuff and to make noise with
• coins - to play the thumb piano, to stick in my mouth, to chuck around
• bottled water - to shake, gargle, squeeze, roll and hit things with
