notes + new movie plan
Continuing a recent trend for unfinished work, below is a set of notes written on Monday, which seems a long time ago already. It includes ideas some, all or none of which may get featured in the next short film project.
This next project is insanely ambitious and will need a lot of help, but if it comes off will be great. No title yet and it's too early to even talk about themes other than the old favourite of failed communication. There will be more details as and when they become available, but santiago is likely to hand DoP and production duties to other people. It's even likely to need locations, but the writing has to be a lot more complete first. That's this week's job.
And so to yesterday's notes:
can drop my water bottle in the ass pocket of these jeans. wanna shoot some film in movement where you can't make out what's going on. i've fallen back in love with the idea of being an artist, all i needed was to take a break. every day and every week less interested in going to work. one day i just won't go, call in and say "i can't be bothered anymore," and they'll say "we know, your p45's in the post."
building shuttered metal plates over ground floor windows either left now derelict + squatted or knocked down for new building. doesn't matter to me both go for art making the most of the walk to work.
there's nothing you can do with that wall except pee on it or grafitti, or maybe lean on it smoking. it's boring, no finish, painted in an ugly colour it's not right. a wall should do more than keep the wind out, it's got an environmental an aesthetic function.
