I've loved this for a long time. It's weird being atheist but still having affection for both gospel and gospel inflected blues.

I Am In The Heavenly Way was recorded in 1930 when Booker White was 24 (or possibly 21) and bears the influence of Blind Willie Johnson. It also features a 'Miss Minnie' who may or may not be Memphis Minnie.

And since you asked nicely here's Blind Willie Johnson with his false-bass. Motherless Children Have A Hard Time.

And some Memphis Minnie to round out your Sunday, I'd Rather See Him Dead.
