weird fiction
Here's something that may be of interest to a few of you. One of my fellow MA students has launched a blog called Weird Fiction. This covers a wide range of genre and non-genre writing from speculative fiction, through fanstasy, horror, sf and beyond.
The way it works is you sign up to the blog, submit your piece of weird fiction which I assume will be sunject to some form of moderation, and wait for readers to offer critiques of the work. Or you can simply read what other people have submitted and offer your comments. At present no work has actually been put up for critique yet so if you're quick you might be the first on there.
Coincidentally it seems to be a similar set-up to another recently started blog Betrayed Zine out of the US which describes itself as Avant Pulp Sci Fi who added me through twitter. There must be something in the blogosphere or the concept of hauntology is starting to spread - time to dig out those early Fall albums yet again.
