live vocal improv sat 1 aug 20

Honestly not much of a fan of this week's live vocal improv. There are some really good sounds, and I like some of the changes of direction, but it doesn't hang together or have much energy or focus. Forgetting my lav mic was a mistake too.

I just wasn't properly prepared, had fewer ideas than usual, and those I did have needed more effort putting into them. So apologies, for that, but then it is going to happen if you do things week in week out.

Which is NOT me saying I'm planning to stop these improvs, they're a valuable way to ensure I get practice, to gauge where I'm at, to consolidate new techniques/ideas, and to try new things.
