The clothes are because my washing machine (from my mother's house after she died) doesn't drain the water, so it has to be manually drained and the washing hand-wrung. I'm about to hang it.

The fruit is the remainder of last week's bowl ready to be made into fruit salad. The new bowl is overflowing in the other room.
